The Job

As an AI Prompt Engineer at Harvey Nash, you will:

  • Design, develop, and optimise prompts for AI models to generate high-quality, relevant, and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and content creators, to implement and improve AI-generated outputs.
  • Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of prompt performance, using metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing to apply best practices and innovative techniques to prompt engineering.
  • Document prompt development processes and outcomes, providing clear and comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to prompt performance and AI-generated content.
  • Work closely with technical resource to provide QA services for AI generated content.
  • Review QA content for ethics and bias to ensure fairness and inclusivity in AI-generated outputs.
  • Work with recruiters to fine-tune content based on specific clients, industry sectors, and cultural aspects to enhance relevance and effectiveness.
  • Learn CoPilot Studio and deliver further automation initiatives that can be implemented through the Microsoft AI tech stack.
  • Liaise with colleagues across the wider global tech team, including BI and IT teams (including infrastructure) in the delivery of the business systems roadmap.

 

What do you need to be successful?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstratable experience in AI, natural language processing, or prompt engineering.
  • Familiarity with large language models and their applications.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Programming skills, particularly in Python or JavaScript.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • The ability to adapt to new technical environments and propose improvements.
  • Stakeholder management skills and a passion for technology-driven change.
