As Spinks’ Marketing Specialist you will work with the Global Marketing Director, Managing Director for Spinks and the Spinks Leadership team to implement the full marketing strategy and plans to support the growth of Spinks and associated brands (Spinks on Site, You Equal Tech), helping to drive revenues and gain market share.


Reporting to the Global Marketing Director you will lead the implementation of our marketing plans across a variety of channels including social media, website, email, events and content. You will support the ongoing development of the website, improving brand awareness, growing traffic and engagement and ultimately delivering more leads into the business as well as supporting the development of brand collateral.


Role Responsibilities:

Website & Digital Marketing

  • Management of websites, SEO and SEM strategy
  • Own the performance of websites and proactively look for ways to improve conversions
  • Work with internal teams and external agencies to continually improve websites performance and visibility


Social Media & Online Marketing

  • Design and implement the online marketing and social media strategy, measuring effectiveness (engagement, audience growth)
  • Advise stakeholders of the best online marketing and social media strategy to attract and interact with targeted communities, to increase brand awareness and deliver growth plans
  • Recommend ways to improve our strategy and activities by capturing and analysing the appropriate data/metrics, insights and best practices


Content

  • Create and publish high quality created (blogs, expert opinion, white papers and thought leadership) and curated content using editorial calendars and syndication schedules to raise brand awareness and support lead generation activities.
  • Work with and manage third party content writers, working with internal teams and the broader leadership team to identify relevant themes and topics.


Events

  • Identify relevant fairs, conferences or events for brand positioning
  • Work closely with sales teams to support with event efforts to drive relationship building
  • Report results following fairs, conferences or events


Competitor Analysis

  • Undertake regular competitor analysis and research, market trends to identify competitor tactics, new opportunities and challenges


Reporting

  • Develop marketing dashboard to report and provide insights into the impact marketing activities, demonstrating ROI and informing future investment.


Success Factors:

  • 2-3 Years marketing experience, within the recruitment sector would be desirable
  • Strong project management, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Tech-savvy, with a knowledge of marketing technologies (CRM, CMS, marketing automation, web analytics); html and WordPress
  • Proficient using email marketing tools, design tools (Canva), social media scheduling tools and
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Solutions focused – seeing opportunities not challenges
  • Excellent verbal communication in English, business writing, and copywriting skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, independent worker
  • Driven to deliver results
