The Bid team is a key function across the Harvey Nash Group, helping to build collaboration across our different brands and providing a centralised function to support with the production of creative, attractive bids and proposals for our customers.

The Role

Responsible for creating and managing the entire bid and proposal process in response to customer RFI/RFP documents, ITT’s, SQQ’s and other customer requests.  Working as a key member of the central bid team you will own the complete response supported by SME’s across the business.  As well as creating and writing compelling bid responses you will support the wider sales community with sales collateral, pro-active proposals, and the general production of material to help promote the services of the Harvey Nash Group.

Success Factors

  • A good knowledge of bid and project management, pursuit management, common tools, and best practices
  • Ability to write concise, creative, and compelling content for proposals and pitches
  • A creative mindset with the ability to visualise solutions and answers to customer questions
  • A good knowledge of both public and private sector procurement processes including working on a wide range of bid proposals such as RFI, RFP, SQQ, ITT.
  • Excellent understanding of commercial tendering process and associated activities such as financial and commercial awareness
  • Proven ability to run several opportunities concurrently, for different customers to tight deadlines
  • Well organised with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong computer and presentation writing capability
  • Provides leadership and ability to guide the bid team, internal stakeholders, and client throughout the bid lifecycle
  • Experience of Recruitment / Resourcing sector an advantage but not essential
  • European Languages an advantage but not essential
